At Tellabs, we’re always looking for ways to make it easier for our partners, consultants, and customers to design, plan, and deliver modern optical networks. That’s why we’re excited to announce an expanded library of BIM and Revit files for Tellabs Optical Network Terminals (ONTs) and Optical Line Terminals (OLTs).
These new digital resources provide architects, engineers, and design-build partners with a powerful toolset to seamlessly integrate Tellabs solutions into their project workflows.
Why BIM/Revit Files Matter
Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit software have become industry standards for designing modern buildings and infrastructure projects. By making our ONT and OLT models available in these formats, Tellabs helps project teams:
- Accelerate Design & Planning
Instead of building device representations from scratch, teams can instantly import precise, ready-to-use models of Tellabs solutions. This saves valuable time and ensures design accuracy. - Improve Collaboration
BIM/Revit files allow architects, engineers, and contractors to work from the exact digital blueprint, improving communication and reducing errors among cross-functional teams. - Enhance Project Accuracy
Accurate product geometry and technical specifications mean fewer assumptions, better spatial coordination, and a reduced risk of design conflicts later in the build process. - Support Smarter Decision-Making
With data-rich models, planners can evaluate how Tellabs equipment integrates with building systems—from space allocation to cooling, power, and cabling—long before physical installation begins. - Ensure Compliance and Efficiency
Many large-scale projects, including government, education, healthcare, and hospitality, now require BIM files as part of the planning process. By providing ready-to-go models, Tellabs ensures compliance and helps projects progress faster.
How to Access Tellabs BIM/Revit Files
Our BIM/Revit library includes all Tellabs ONTs and OLTs and can be accessed in two ways:
- Request Direct Access—Contact your Tellabs representative or us to request the files you need for your upcoming projects.
- Via Nexus (Coming Soon)—The full library will also be available on Tellabs Nexus, our centralized customer and partner portal, giving you streamlined, self-service access.
Engineered for Customer and Partner Success
By releasing this BIM/Revit library, Tellabs is furthering our commitment to simplifying the design and deployment of enterprise and campus-wide optical LAN solutions. Whether you’re an architect planning a smart building, an engineer optimizing a hospital network, or a contractor working on large-scale airport infrastructure, these files give you the confidence to integrate Tellabs equipment seamlessly into your designs.
