Our latest news release revealed that with a little help from our friends Alpha Technologies and ITConnect, our world headquarters in Dallas Texas is now home to a technology showcase of Tellabs’ Passive Optical LAN – including the latest software release SR29.1 functionality.
Not only is this enterprise network the Tellabs’ live corporate LAN, but it is also available to tour by customers and partners looking to gain more insight into OLAN. By taking a tour through our facility, you can witness first-hand a wide variety of flexible mounting, powering, cabling and pathway options for enterprise OLAN. You can also see the recently released Tellabs™ 142R Optical Network Terminal (ONT) and other additions to our latest Software Release (SR) SR29.1.
ONT powering options is always a popular topic. At our showcase, visitors can see Alpha Technologies’ remote power solution that provides a safe, cost effective, low maintenance and highly reliable method of elegantly powering the ONTs.
